Beeston Hills Putting Green – Tender Process now open
Sheringham Town Council (STC) are tendering for Operators to manage the Beeston Hills Putting Green facility.
The Agreement between STC and the successful applicant will be a Five-year Licence for the Operator to use and manage the land for the purpose of seasonal putting and sale of refreshments from 1st March 2025
The Operator will be considered an extension of the STC team conducting their operations in a professional manner, upholding the highest standards of customer service, cleanliness, and conduct.
Key Operator responsibilities will include:
- Providing all necessary putting equipment, including putters, balls and hole markers.
- Offering a safe space and environment for visitors to enjoy.
- The upkeep of the flower beds and planters. Note: All playing greens, outfields and other green area maintenance will be the responsibility of the STC Maintenance team.
- Keeping the new facility and site clean, tidy and professionally presented at all times.
- Displaying signage or marketing materials to promote the putting green.
- Demonstrating appropriate hygiene certificates, public liability insurance and risk assessment prior to season start each year.
- Setting appropriate opening/closing times throughout the season.
- Providing a quality cafeteria/bistro offering a range of hot and cold food options.
- To provide a robust plan for the management of refuse and recycling.

Invitation to tender released: 15.01.2025
Closing date for tenders: 07.02.2025
Award of agreement to successful applicants: 14.02.2025
