1940’S Weekend 2025

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 IN THE PARISH OF SHERINGHAM ON 20 SEPTEMBER AND 21 SEPTEMBER 2025 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC MOVEMENT

Norfolk County Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the Sheringham 1940s Weekend, they intend to make a Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic on the U11446 Church Street from junction to Station Approach U10153 to Station Road U11445.
Station Approach U10153 from U11446 Church Street to Augustas Street U10107. The High Street U11445 – U11445 Station Road U11445 High Street. U10115 East Cliff U10116 Lifeboat Plain U10117 Gun Street C507 Wyndham. Street U10113 St Peter’s Road U10114 Waterbank Road (also C507 Beeston Road between 6.45pm and 7pm only on 20 September and U10153 Station
Approach between 3.30pm and 5pm only on 21 September) in the PARISH OF SHERINGHAM.

The Order will come into effect on 20 September 2025 and will remain in force for 38 hours and 45 minutes. The road will be temporarily restricted (except for emergency and pedestrian access) on from 20 September 2025 at 9am to 21 September 2025 until 11.45pm. Restrictions on traffic will only be enforced until normal traffic flow can be maintained.

Where appropriate during the period of the closure, temporary suspension of existing permanent Traffic Orders may be imposed.
