Wildlife Garden Awards

Sheringham Town Council are launching a new wildlife garden scheme which is open to all residents of Sheringham.

If you are interested in creating an oasis for wildlife in your green space, we want to hear from you.

Who can take part?

Have you got a Green Space?

Entry is FREE and it’s open to everyone doing their bit to support wildlife, no matter the size of your space. Whether you’ve got a garden big or small, an allotment, a balcony bursting with pots, or even a window box, you can help nature thrive! Schools, nurseries, care homes, businesses and community gardens as well… if you care for a green space in Sheringham, you qualify to enter this scheme.

This scheme is open to everyone doing their bit for nature in  Sheringham.  All you need to do is fill out our Gardening checklist, take some photos and send this information to us. Your garden will be assessed using our checklist and your photos, no visits required!

There are three Award Levels: Bronze, Silver & Gold. The more wildlife-friendly features you tick off (based on your garden size), the higher your award level and you will receive a certificate to recognise your efforts and a plaque to proudly display.
